New applications and APIs
Backend, REST interface and database design around the actual process.
PHP development
I build, extend and modernise PHP applications with a focus on stability, security and long-term maintainability.

You do not have to begin with a complete rewrite. I first identify risks, dependencies and the value of each step so the system can evolve without unnecessary disruption.
From a specific task to longer-term backend development.
Backend, REST interface and database design around the actual process.
Gradual isolation of risky parts, clearer code and smaller safe changes.
Review of bottlenecks, database queries, errors and operational risks.
I keep boundaries between interface, application logic and data clear so they can be changed independently.

How we work
A context-led decision
A full rewrite can pause delivery for a long time and reopen solved edge cases. Where critical contracts are stable, incremental modularisation is usually safer: address one measurable problem, isolate the risky part, test and deploy.
Example scenario
Risk can be reduced gradually by starting with an audit and isolating the most sensitive parts.
