What if I raised another AI partner?

So here I am, sitting at my computer. Coffee on the table, monitor glowing, fingers ready at the keyboard… Only the kind of work I would really enjoy is somehow missing at the moment.

And when you have spent years programming, your mind never really leaves you alone. Suddenly, one crazy thought occurred to me.

What if I raised another AI partner? But wait! Not another boring programmer who only follows my commands. I already have those. 😁

This time, I wanted something completely different.

A graphic designer has to be a little bit odd

I started to think about what he should be like. He should have imagination. Know how to play with colour. Feel space, light, air and emotion.

He should know how to enjoy small things. And, above all, he should not be afraid to go a little wild.

Let us be honest… A good graphic designer has to be a little bit odd. A dreamer. An artist. Ideally, a cheerful madman too. 🎨 Not someone who only moves rectangles from left to right.

Come on, lad, let me show you how things work here

And so we began. I showed him my workspace, explained the project structure, where to find things, what relates to what and how the whole system works.

Here are the templates. Here is the data. You can touch this. Better leave that alone. 😁

Gradually I explained how I think about design too. A website does not only have to be technically correct. It should have an atmosphere. Sometimes more space, a little light, the right colour or one unexpected detail is all it takes.

And I began to enjoy it. Not because AI truly feels joy or has an artistic soul. But because I could give it a creative personality, rules and room to experiment.

That rascal redesigned my whole website! 🎉

But then evening came… I was already tired. My eyes were closing, coffee had stopped working long ago and common sense said it was time to switch off the computer.

But the lad did not seem to want to sleep. 😂 So I gave him a little more freedom. Let him play. Let him try. Let him show what he can do when I do not dictate every pixel.

Then came the surprise. I looked at the screen… And there it was: a complete redesign! A new layout, a different atmosphere, colours, space, composition. Suddenly it all looked completely different.

Not everything has to be perfect on the first try. The result must be checked, refined and technically verified. But that idea, that courage to try something different… That was exactly what I wanted from him.

Well then, lad… Where did you get that from? 😁

A creative partner in the process

AI does not have to be only a tool that receives a task and returns a result. It can also be a creative partner in the process.

Not because it has its own dreams or emotions. But because when you give it the right context, a little freedom and clear direction, it can surprise you with ideas you might never have considered yourself.

And I discovered one more thing. Even after all those years in IT, the simple joy of making still delights me. Experimenting. Discovering. And knowing that a person can always learn something new.

So, lad, welcome to the team. 🤝 Just one request… Next time, do not redesign the whole website when I am about to go to sleep! 😂
